What do you get when you mix an athletic genius, author, philanthropist, and consummate motivator together: Chris Green. Since 2007, Chris Green has been the man behind the motto: “Believe, Achieve = Receive” His “Mean Green” Bootcamps have become a household name to match his latest accomplishment of having “Houston’s Top Fitness Bootcamp” that services fifteen locations in the Metro area.

Growing up, the Houston native’s talents were cultivated by a family that supported his goals both on and off the basketball court. His dedication and perseverance prevailed where Chris was awarded a full athletic scholarship and a degree in Communications from Houston Baptist/ Langston University. During his semi professional career with the Houston Takers (ABA) Chris earn his certifications in National Association Sports Medicine (NASM) and ISSA. Chris is never the one to toot his own horn, when it comes to personal achievements because his daily inspirations come from his family; especially his unwavering support from his mother, father and his siblings.

Some of “Mean Green’s” notable work in the fitness community are: being the celebrated author of Results: My 20 Best Kept Secrets for Getting The Lifestyle and Body You Want Now, a partnership with NFL Play60, American Heart Association, training professional athletes in the NFL and NBA during their off season, formulating strategic partnerships with several Fortune 500 companies, and making charitable donations to underserved families during the holiday season.

As a millennial with a diehard entrepreneurial spirit, Chris strongly believes that when you engage clients in a wholesome atmosphere the internal and external results are endless. Never to be confused as a regular fitness trainer, Chris Green provides services for personal training, group training, motivational speaking, and webinars.

Deziree Green / Trainer

desiresmgtpicDeziree has a strong athletic background. She was a 4 year starter and team leader at a 5-A high school where we accomplished many goals and championships. After she excelled with excellence academically and athletically, she received a full scholarship to several schools across the country. She chose to play at Texas A&M- Corpus Christi over Southern Mississippi, University of Memphis, University of Houston, and several other schools. 3 out of her 4 years, she was a starter and a team leader, not only on the court but off the court. Her basketball career conveyed numerous aspects about how to effectively be a leader and how to inspire the people around her to never settle and always believe in their goals.

Dezi graduated Cum Laude with her concentration in Kinesiology. She was inducted into The Athletic National Honor Society and was a 3 year Academic All Conference player. Deziree is always thrilled to have the opportunity to not only help people achieve their physical goals but also how to improve their mental state and their way of thinking, which gives her the ability to help transform people’s lives with her training techniques. She specializes in providing her clients to in believing in themselves. With her combination of previous workouts she have experienced since she was playing ball (at the age of 5), knowledge of her studies, and her caring personality set her above others.

Milton Green

He has a degree from University of Houston and played football for the power house North Shore High School. Due to an injury, he had to pass on the opportunity of playing collegiate football. However, the love of sports and training always stayed in his heart. He went into coaching football, basketball, and track with a middle school and a high school in the Houston area. With15 plus years of coaching experience, he has help mentor and develop a countless number of people and has inspired them to reach their potential. Milton is very positive motivator and leader. He is committed to helping others receive their goals.

People love his style for pushing you to become the better you. He does an awesome job of building your confidence to where you feel like you can achieve anything. His workouts are challenging, but with his support and energy, you will overcome any workout that he designs.

Ashley Perrot / Trainer

IMG_8541If you ever wondered what passion looks like in the flesh, then you have to meet Ashley Perrot. She exudes an undeniable amount of passion for inspiring, motivating, and enriching the lives of those she encounters. As a formal athlete, Ashley experienced many triumphs and trials that have sharpened her ability to rise above anything. Over the years she learned the power of believing and the importance of having a strong support system, beginning with self. As a certified Health & Physical Education educator, she strives to teach each of her students the importance of believing in self.

Ashley’s transition into becoming a motivational trainer is unique, because she herself arrived at Mean Green Training 3 years ago as a member seeking results in her life. 50 pounds lighter and over 30 inches later, Ashley has proven that she understands the importance of commitment, sacrifice, consistency, and discipline. These are key elements she believes will allow her clients to achieve and maintain all of their goals & desires. Anyone that knows Ashley knows that she is a ” no limits” type of person. She will PUSH herself and you to limits you thought were impossible. You will often hear her chanting, P.U.S.H ” P.ress U.ntil S.exy H.appens”! “Don’t be afraid of your sexy, just P.U.S.H.!” Whatever your sexy may be, you will never leave a workout with Ashley wishing you would have worked harder. Her heart won’t allow her to give her clients anything less than the best, so you can always expect to look and feel your best.

Frank Perkins / Trainer

IMG_8564Frank Perkins is a husband and father of two beautiful children. He has been involved in athletics since his youth, participating in football, track and field. He has trained as a mixed martial arts competitor ranking 2nd place at his first match in the heavy weight class.

Frank has for years enjoyed challenging youth and adults physically, spiritually and mentally since 2001. As a Prevention Specialist on substance abuse, he has dedicated himself to inspiring the students he encounters to see the greatness within themselves, in spite of the constant barriers they may face in their lives daily.<br/ >
Frank has taken on the distinct privilege of transitioning into a “Results Magnet” of a trainer. This is apparent as he began the beginning of 2013 training under Mean Green. He by far has been working diligently during his training and is determined to stay consistent through challenging workouts to gain his own personal fitness goals.
Thirty five pounds lighter, Frank understands what it means to go through the pain to get to a healthier gain in life for himself and his family. You will hear him shouting out at times “It hurts soooo Good”! As he wants to share his inspiration with others and motivate individuals to be the best they can be.

Just understand your pain is temporary and the gains of life last forever. Eric Raap / Trainer

DSC_0007Originally born in Michigan, Eric moved to Houston in 2013 after graduating from Western Kentucky University with a Masters in Psychology. Shortly after moving to Houston, Eric joined MGT at Hermann Park and has been an active member since. Eric made the move to be a trainer after after 2 years at MGT. He made the switch because he loved the energy and seeing people succeed in meeting their goals. The group dynamic is very powerful and inspiring, and he knew he could help inspire others to do their best. Eric is an active marathon runner and focuses upon complete picture of fitness, including diet, cardio and strength training. The complete picture of fitness means not only physical attributes of gaining strength and endurance but also the mental side. Becoming a stronger individual mentally, being able to work smarter, deal with difficult situations better. Eric has adapted the moto that you can always improve yourself.

Tricia Brinks / Trainer

IMG_8383Being in the field of special education for 13 years has taught me how to be a leader and how to help the people under my leadership defy the odds on a regular basis. Whether I am leading children or adults I will always encourage them to be the very best that they can be and achieve their highest potential.

I love to encourage people and seeing them achieve goals they never thought possible. I love being a part of other people’s successes! You will always leave my bootcamp feeling like you gave it your all because I am committed to motivating you to be your very best! I am incredibly dedicated and passionate in all areas of my life and helping you achieve your results will be no different! We will do this and we will do it together!

I started down the fitness road in 2006 when I joined a biggest loser contest and lost 30lbs (and won the contest). From there being fit, working out and eating clean became an addiction for me! In 2007 I ran a marathon. I did a lot of running and gym workouts but in 2012 I started struggling with some different health issues. My doctors told me weight gain was just a part of it and there was nothing I could really do about it. I was determined to prove them wrong and started searching for something new and different from my daily gym workouts and that was when I found MGT. My life has never been the same since. MGT helped me lose the weight I had gained but it also helped me build much more strength and confidence and gave me a family to work out with!

Marcus Milstead / Trainer

IMG_8408-1A self proclaimed “Gym Rat”, Marcus, has studied several different disciplines of fitness. They have included traditional forms of exercise such as weight and cardiovascular training and moved to more innovative formats such as Yoga, Pilates and plyometric training. He strives to motivate boot campers with unbridled energy and positivity, while simultaneously inspiring them to reach results they didn’t even think were possible. Marcus’ mantra is “Be better Today than you were Yesterday”. Marcus is pride alum of Texas Southern University, where he completed his Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications in 2010. Marcus is a lifetime sports junkie. He worked in sports media from 2010-2012 as a Reporter and Production Supervisor. He has done work with the Texans, Rockets, Astros and Sports Radio 610. As well as productions for his self titled YouTube channel, Big Milstead’s Sports Network.

Teressa Rylander / Trainer

IMG_8667Teressa Rylander, born in Houston, Texas. She has been running since I was five years old and have not stop. She ran cross country, played basketball, and ran track. After graduation at Alabama State University, she went to the Sun shine state to relax in the sun. She stayed beachbody ready, with her own self study. She feels being physically fit is one part but you must be mentally ready to take the challenge. The best moves are made when you step out on NOTHING and BELIEVE the IMPOSSIBLE! Which has given her the push to help people with all fitness levels. She is ready to help Houston become fit with her intense track workouts.

DSC_0010Jason Miller, born in Houston Texas has always had a athletic lifestyle playing sports such as tennis for 13 years and rugby. He decided that he had that fitness itch in his body and 2 years ago tried to follow it. Changing his lifestyle to training others he left the oil field and turned to changing others lives. He worked at La fitness as a Fitness Director before joining mean green bootcamp. He believes that working out and getting healthy can be fun. Not that old way of screaming at someone to do the exercise. He believes that you can be pushed many ways to reaching your goal. Jason knows that no goal is impossible no matter if it 20 pounds or 200 pounds you can do it just believe in you.
Changing his own lifestyle he learned that strength training cardio and a healthy eatting will get you right. He took this put it into his clients workouts and has seen that doing this has brought great results. Let’s Get Fit and have fun Doing it.
